Homeschooling

More and more parents are turning to homeschooling to ensure that their kids get a good education, and, in some cases, to keep them safe. Here are some links to websites that deal with homeschooling issues.

1. Homeschool World (http://www.home-school.com/) is the official magazine of homeschool information. It links you to all kinds of information about homeschooling. Great information.

2. Homeschooler Network (http://www.homeschoolernetwork.fen.com/) has 5000 lessons, activities and articles for homeschoolers.

3. National Home Education Research Institute (http://www.nheri.org/) studies home education and publishes that information.

4. Homeschool Legal Defense Association (http://www.hslda.org/Default.asp?bhcp=1) provides information on the legal rights of parents who are homeschooling their children. They also provide lawyers who specialize in homeschool defense cases.

5. IDEA International (http://www.intidea.org/) Homeschooling for military families and people in the Pacific Rim.

6. International Homeschooling (http://homeschooling.gomilpitas.com/regional/Europe.htm) has homeschool sites mostly in Europe.

This should be enough to wet your appetite and get you started on homeschooling. Enjoy.
